How text-message consent works

Deadline Guardian transactional deadline reminders

Deadline Guardian sends SMS only to Business and Pro users who actively enable text reminders inside their authenticated account. SMS is optional and is not required to purchase or use Deadline Guardian.

Opt-in flow

Inside Settings → Mobile reminders, the user enters a mobile phone number and must actively select an unchecked consent checkbox before clicking Enable Text Reminders.

What messages contain

Messages are transactional alerts about deadlines the user chose to track, such as business license renewals, insurance expirations, permits, contracts, registrations, certifications and other business due dates. Deadline Guardian does not use this SMS program for marketing blasts.

Message frequency and charges

Message frequency varies based on the number of deadlines a user tracks and the reminder schedule selected for those deadlines. Message and data rates may apply.

Opt out and help

Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help. Users can also disable text reminders in Account Settings.

Privacy

Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in information are not sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details.
